ChatGPT + Claude + your recipe collection

A little imagination.
A lot to cook.

Mealbench’s MCP connections bring your recipe collection into the conversation.

MCP is the connection that lets an AI assistant work with Mealbench. You can ask for a new recipe, turn an accessible recipe post into something organized, create an image, and save the result to your collection.

Start with what’s on hand.

Share a photo of your refrigerator or pantry with ChatGPT or Claude. Ask for a recipe using the ingredients you have, then ask the assistant to save it in Mealbench.

“Here’s what’s in my fridge. Suggest a simple dinner for four and save the recipe to Mealbench.”

Keep the things you discover.

Bring a link from Instagram, TikTok, a website, or a blog into the conversation. When the assistant can access the source, it can help turn the recipe into ingredients and directions in Mealbench. If it can’t access a post, you may need to provide its text or screenshots.

“Turn this recipe into a Mealbench recipe. Keep the original source with it.”

Give a new idea a home.

Describe a dish, ask for variations, or request a recipe image. Refine it together, then keep the result in Mealbench so you can find it again.

“Create a cozy chickpea dinner, write the recipe for four, and save it to Mealbench.”

Your choice, always.

These connections are optional. You can use every part of Mealbench’s recipe organization, meal planning, and cooking experience without AI. ChatGPT and Claude have their own account requirements, availability, privacy policies, and possible fees.

Review generated ingredients and instructions before cooking. Check dietary restrictions and food-safety details yourself.

Connection guides are on the way.

Setup instructions will be added as the Mealbench connections are released. In the meantime, explore the examples or get in touch with a question.
